| EL PRIMER AMOR. (AP.2:1-7). |
Apocalipsis 2.1-7 mensaje a la iglesia en Efeso. Punto principal: El primer amor (v.4 ). -Ap. 2.l "Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Efeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el que anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro, dice esto:" -Escribe al ángel: A la nueva criatura de toda la congregación no solo al ministro, aunque sobre él recae la mayor responsabilidad. Siete estrellas: Siete ángeles de las siete iglesias. Siete candeleros: Siete iglesias. 1.20 Estrella alumbrando sobre el candelero: Testimonio irreprensible de la iglesia. 2.2" Yo conozco tus obras, y tu arduo trabajo y paciencia y que no puedes soportar a los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos; Obra del Señor en ellos a través del Espíritu Santo y por eso los alaba el Señor: Yo conozco tus obras: Buenas obras, de justicia de fidelidad. Arduo trabajo: Trabajo de iglesia, usos, privilegio congregación, predicación, evangelismo, discipulado, el cuidarse los unos a los otros, visitarse, consolarse, etc. Paciencia: Había fe en ellos y por eso tenían paciencia, sabían esperar en el propósito y la respuesta de Dios en medio de toda prueba y circunstancia. Y que no puedes soportar a los malos: Celosos por las buenas obras, santidad, se apartaban de toda contaminación y aborrecían a los perversos, reprendían sus malas obras, se alejaban de ellos, temían a Dios. Has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles y no lo son y los has hallado mentirosos: Estaban apercibidos de la verdadera doctrina, que habían recibido por medio de verdaderos ministerios, los cuales habían asimilado, de tal modo que no solo conocían la doctrina si no que la ponían por obra, vivían la palabra, de manera que alcanzaron tal nivel espiritual de poder juzgar falsos apóstoles (y cualquier otro falso ministro, maestro, profeta, etc.) y encontrarlos mentirosos; asimismo tenían entre ellos dones de discernimiento de espíritu. 2.3 "Y has sufrido, y has tenido paciencia, y has trabajado arduamente por amor de mi nombre, y no has desmayado.". Sufrido y tenido paciencia: Frutos del Espíritu Santo, templanza y paciencia, llenos de amor sufriéndolo todo, padecimiento por causa de la justicia por el Señor. “Trabajado arduamente por amor de mi nombre”(Expresión muy significativa que confirma que habían alcanzado el “primer amor”): Adelantando un poco (v.6) no eran nicolaítas, *no conquistadores de gentes por métodos humanos; si no que se dejaban guiar por el Espíritu y esperaban en Dios que todo se manifestara a su tiempo y conforme al propósito del Señor, buscando su gloria no la de ellos; no amor a la fama si no que por amor al Señor. Y no has desmayado: Poder de la fe, un solo ánimo, perseverancia. Estas primeras obras constituyeron en ellos el primer amor (v.2y3) una verdadera restauración, obra de avivamiento, un testimonio aprobado delante del Señor, irreprensibles, amaban al Señor sobre todas las cosas. (-Marcos 12.30 Y amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas. Este es el PRIMER AMOR 31 Y el segundo es semejante: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. No hay otros mandamientos mayor que éstos. ) Este es el principal mandamiento. El vivir este primero y grande mandamiento, amar a Dios con todo nuestro ser y por sobre todas las cosas es andar en el PRIMER AMOR y se manifiesta en obras como en Ap. 2.2-3. ______________________________________________________________ *Obras aborrecidas por el Señor ( Apocalipsis 2:6,15 ) ______________________________________________________________ Pero preguntémonos; el cumplimiento de este mandamiento ¿ lo alcanzamos en los primeros días de nuestro cristianismo cuando comenzábamos a conocer al Señor ? Definitivamente que no, más bien es una obra que se alcanza al crecer en el conocimiento del Señor por medio de una profunda sobre edificación en la verdadera doctrina, manifestándose como en esas primeras obras de Ap. 2.2-3 y no como algunos sostienen que el primer amor es aquella expresión primaria y espontánea de alegría y algarabía que todo cristiano experimenta cuando llega a los pies del Señor, porque él ora, canta, lee la palabra y a todos habla del Señor, etc. ; sin embargo, esa es una expresión propia de la novedad de vida que ha recibido, ante el cambio inicial que en él ha sucedido, el ser trasladado de las tinieblas a la luz admirable, al llegar al conocimiento de Cristo en los rudimentos o principios de su doctrina, como el arrepentimiento de obras muertas, de la fe en Dios, de la doctrina de bautismos, de la imposición de manos, de la resurrección de los muertos y del juicio eterno ( Heb.6:1-3 ); todo lo que él ahora conoce y experimenta en el Señor; pero eso no es el primer amor, sino el primer amor es el haber alcanzado una obra de grande restauración espiritual , con el propósito firme de alcanzar la perfección, a través de perseverar, sin desmayar, en las primeras obras, y por supuesto perseverar en el “primer amor” alcanzado que es: amar al Señor con todo nuestro ser sobre todas las cosas lo cual habrá de ser probado al venir diversos padecimientos y circunstancias entonces se manifestará esa sobre edificación. La Epístola del Apóstol Pablo a los Efesios escrita unos 30-40 años antes del libro de Apocalipsis y dirigida precisamente a esta iglesia en Efeso, constituida bajo su ministerio, que es una epístola de sobre edificación esencialmente, nos muestra en todo su contenido, si lo escudriñamos detalladamente, como esta iglesia definitivamente alcanzó el primer amor al poner por obra todas las advertencias allí contenidas (así como otras epístolas que llegaron a sus manos). Efesios 1.15 Por esta causa también yo, habiendo oído de vuestra fe en el Señor Jesús, y de vuestro amor para con todos los santos, v.16 no ceso de dar gracias.. Esto es una alabanza al testimonio de los efesios el cual había llegado a ser notorio: "Habiendo oído". Su fe en el conocimiento de Cristo era eficaz (Filemón 5-6 )y se mostraba por medio de un amor a todos los santos.. EFESIOS 3.16-19. V.19 "Y de conocer el amor de Cristo, que excede a todo conocimiento para que seáis llenos de toda la plenitud de Dios." Así lo alcanzaron, no la perfección; pero, Cristo habitó por la fe en sus corazones, arraigados y fundados en amor, fueron fortalecidos por el poder del Santo Espíritu para esa obra, Dios les dio de las riquezas de su gloria y fueron capaces de comprender las dimensiones del amor de Cristo y fueron llenos de la plenitud de Dios. Así alcanzaron el primer amor. EFESIOS 4.11-16. V.14 ”Para que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que para engañar emplean con astucia las artimañas del error." Por eso tuvieron la bienaventuranza de probar y encontrar mentirosos a los falsos apóstoles, asimilaron bien los verdaderos ministerios, fueron apercibidos de verdadera doctrina. ADVERTENCIAS:,, Efesios 4.1-6;17-32; 5.1-20,21-33; 6.1-4,5-9,10-17;6.18-20. Citando algunos versos: -4.1"Yo pues, preso en el Señor os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que fuisteis llamados." -4.17"Esto ,pues, digo y requiero en el Señor: Que ya no andéis como los otros gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su mente. " -4.30 "Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios.."' -5.1 "Sed, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados." -5.2" Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó y se entregó a sí mismo por nosotros.. " -5.21-33 Advertencia para los casados. -6.1- Advertencia para padres e hijos. –Ef. 6:5-9 Advertencias para amos y empleados. –6:10-17 la armadura de Dios.-6.18-20 Orar por todos los santos y por los ministerios verdaderos. Hechos 20.17-38 Llamando a los ancianos de Efeso a Mileto, Pablo les advirtió, recordándoles que les había anunciado todo el consejo de Dios, amonestando uno por uno al pueblo; y les mandó cuidar la grey porque luego de su partida entrarían falsos ministros y aún de entre ellos se levantarían hombres perversos, y éstos buscarían arrastrar al pueblo tras el pecado y las falsas doctrinas (20.27-31) . Todo esto profetizado por Pablo se cumplió en ellos, a pesar que guardaron las advertencias, caminaron en el primer amor; pero con el transcurrir del tiempo al pasar los años, y luego que Pablo murió (65 años después de Cristo ) se envanecieron y se descuidaron, dejaron de observar la palabra, dejaron meter iniquidad, contristaron al Espíritu Santo, comenzaron a tolerar falsos ministros, perdieron ese testimonio fiel y la obra de espiritualidad en ellos y no perseveraron en las primeras obras, así cayeron del primer amor. Por eso unos 30-40 años después (de la Epístola a los Efesios * 62-63 D.C.) el Señor los amonesta por este mensaje a través del apóstol Juan en la revelación del Apocalipsis (+95 D.C. )diciéndoles: Ap. 2.4-5:v.4 “Pero tengo contra tí, que has dejado tu primer amor.” -v.5 “Recuerda por tanto, de donde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; pues si no vendré pronto a tí, y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar, si no te hubieres arrepentido”. Les manda arrepentirse sinceramente y hacer las primeras obras, recordándolas, pues de allí habían caído ( versos 2 y 3 ); si no se arrepentían el Señor vendría a ellos, no su venida literal, si no a ejecutar disciplina sobre ellos, Y sería quitarles el candelero de ellos (su lugar), esto significa que el Señor se apartaría de ellos aun más y dejarían de alumbrar como iglesia, con un verdadero testimonio y se hundirían en mayores errores y grandes carnalidades; pero el Señor no se quedaría sin testimonio, si no que daría ese candelero a otro pueblo, levantaría otro remanente con ese testimonio, que caminase en el primer amor, agradándole, si no se arrepentían. -V.6 “Pero tienes esto.” algo que habían retenido, aborrecían las obras de los nicolaítas, la hipocresía, no eran conquistadores de gente para su fama. Otro apoyo primer amor. ROMANOS 12.1- “Así que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional. - V.2 No os conforméis a este siglo, si no transformaos.. THE FIRST LOVE.(AP.2: 1-7).
The first
love (v.4) -Ap. 2. "Write to the angel of the church at Ephesus: He who has the
seven stars in his right hand, he who walks in the midst of the seven candlesticks
of gold, says this: "
-Write to the angel: To the new creature of the whole congregation not only to the
minister, although he bears the greatest responsibility.
Seven stars: Seven angels of the seven churches. Seven candlesticks: Seven

irreproachable of the church. 2.2 "I know your works, and your hard work and

These first works constituted in them the first love (v.2 and 3)

ROMANS 12.1-
"So, brothers, I beg you for the mercies of God, that you present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your
rational worship. - V.2 Do not conform to this century, if you do not transform ...
If we do so, we will be blessed.
